Saying of God
﴾And launch a large-scale struggle against them by means of (knowledge, logic and preaching of the Qur'an).﴿
[Qur'an 25:52]
Saying of the Prophet (PBUH)
According to Fudala b. `Ubayd رضی اللہ عنہ: “I heard Allah’s Messenger ﷺ say: ‘The (great) striver is the one who strives against his own self (i.e., lusts, indulgences and luxurious pursuits).’”
